We will cycle to the countryside roads through the villages, fish farms, rice fields with water buffalos, and egrets.

Our local guide will help you to understand more about the daily works of the farmers and how they use water buffalos to do farming works. Moreover, you will have a chance to ride a water buffalo and help the farmers flow the rice paddy fields.

Arrive the Tra Que Vegetable Village, the big eco-vegetable area Hoi An. As you know, Tra Que is 2km northeast of Hoi An center. It is famous for growing vegetables, especially typical herbs of Vietnamese food. This is the most popular destination for tourists to get away from the hustle and bustle of urban life to try an exciting “farmer day”. Visitors can learn how to grow vegetables, fertilize, plant seeds, and especially experience the joys of their achievements.

Vegetables are grown at Tra Que each combine to bring all 5 flavors from sweet to bitter and sour, especially visitors will learn why the vegetables here are clean, fresh, and delicious. In such a period, the village elders say that because the land here is fertile, people fertilize vegetables with seaweed from the river, so vegetables have a special taste and are always fresh without any chemistry fertilizer.

A local family will welcome us to their house, enjoy some local welcome drinks, and take a break. After visiting their house, we will wear conical hats, farmer clothes to go to their farm to work. After working as a real farmer, we get back to their house to do cooking classes.
