Then one day, one of them was distracted by beautiful fairies flew down the beach nearby. Took that chance, the other quickly tied the match to make it could not be finished forever. One got back to heaven and the sat alone to find out the way to win. Therefore, local people set up the statue of the deity who sat alone in front of the chessboard so the mountain peak’s name has also come from the legend. The beach where the fairies flew down is the  Tien Sa Beach “fairy beach” nowadays.

Tien Sa Beach 

Tien Sa (fairyland) beach is at the end of Yet Kieu street, next to Tien Sa port, about 10 km from Da Nang city center and is an attractive beach in Da Nang. This beautiful beach is associated with the legend of the Chessboard peak and has entered music and poetry. Tien Sa Beach is independent of the north of the wild Son Tra peninsula.
